HazMatIQ Rad-IQ

This 8-hour training course takes responders through basic radiation  principles to response tactics/decision making. RadIQ Covers Radiation  Fundamentals, Units and Conversions, Safety Principles, Transportation  Incidents, Radiological Response with Survey Techniques, and finishes with  hands on practical exercises, designed to enhance the responder’s ability  to use and deploy radiation detection instrumentation safely, efficiently  and effectively.  Throughout the course, laminated charts will be provided as field tools for the responders.
